The Spanish town of Alcudia is located on the island of Majorca in the Balearic Islands. It is a major centre for tourism on the island and is popular with families. The Old Town has many examples of houses that date back to the 13th century and is surrounded by a medieval wall. The Old Town is around 2 miles from the port. The Port d'Alcudia and Platja d'Alcudia parts of the town, along the 14 km long beach that runs all the way to Can Picafort, is where most of the hotels can be found.
For visitors planning to travel to Alcúdia by car or motorbike, then you will have to get a ferry which operate daily from Barcelona, Denia and Valencia to Mallorca. Also available from the distillery are tickets for tours of the harbour which take around one hour.
Mahon ferry port has year round sailings connecting the city to Barcelona and Valencia on the Spanish mainland. You can also catch ferries to Palma and to Alcudia, Majorca and to Ibiza. Ferries also operate to and from Ciutadella in the summer months.
