Bounty Island Guide

Bounty Island Resort is found in the volcanic Mamanuca Islands, less than an hour away from the Fijian mainland. There are over twenty sailings a week from the island to Denarau, with both Awesome Adventures Fiji and South Sea Cruises operating on the route.

What is there to do at Bounty Island?
It’s an island of uncomplicated beauty, nothing more than a lush-leafed forest of palm trees and a platinum beach that stretches along the entire rim of the coastline. The idyllic Pacific setting gives visitors the chance to interact with the exotic marine life, with scuba diving, deep sea fishing, fish feeding and turtle feeding all available at the resort. There are no roads or public transport on the island meaning that it can only be explored on foot, though nowhere is further than a mile from anywhere else. Beach and island treks are the perfect way to see this Fijian paradise.

What about the port?
The port on the island consists of just one narrow jetty that extends from the beach outside the Bounty Island holiday resort and into the crystal clear waters of the Pacific. Awesome Adventures Fiji provide seven weekly sailings that take just over half hour, while South Sea Cruises offer fourteen but that trip takes over two hours to travel south east to the mainland.
