Gili Trawangan Port sits on the largest of three islands that form the Gili Islands, a small island group off the northwest coast of Indonesia. The island group relies massively on tourism, especially Gili Trawangan, which has developed its infrastructure solely to attract tourists by presenting them with the chance to relax in luxurious resorts. Most resorts around the port will provide accommodation in the form of small huts, typically with a pool and restaurants offering local dishes. The Gili Islands offer crossings around each of the islands, as well as ferry routes to Lombok Port on the west coast of Indonesia, providing the gateway into the heart of the country.
