It is roughly 13 km to the south of the county town of Haverfordwest and 121 km to the west of Cardiff. The medieval Pembroke Castle is a popular visitor attraction in the town. The castle was the birthplace of King Henry VII of England and was later home to the Knights of St John in the UK.
