"Great experience "
Lovely trip
"Awaome "
Great service
"Terrible "
Direct ferries is an absolute sham. Terrible terrible customer service. Do not use this website. Book directly with ferry provider and cut out the middle man who is only interested in making money and not in providing a good service
"Ireland - UK return trip"
Very easy booking process. When 1 of the sailings was cancelled it was sorted and another sailing confirmed within 24 hours. Both sailings were exactly on time leaving and arriving.
"Ok ish"
We travelled from Dublin to Holyhead onboard Ulysses. It was a pleasant trip, easy boarding, freindly staff and comfortable journey. Unfortunately the return journey on Epsilon was not quite so comfortable. Boarding was quick and simple. However there was limited seating, the promenade deck was closed even though the sea was smooth and no wind. The restraunt staff were helpful and freindly, unfortunately the reception staff not so. Then 40 mins to disembark. I have travelled the Irish sea route a number of times with both Irish ferries and Stenaline and had problems of one sirt ir another every time with Irish Ferries. I will always try and use Stenaline from now on.
"Dublin to Holyhead and back "
My family enjoyed the ferry crossings which were punctual and very clean. We were very comfortable on the route to Holyhead but were disappointed with the scarcity of soft seating on the return on July 13th. I would however recommend the company on this route as the ferry was spotless and the staff very friendly.
"Good trip, staff need to smile"
Easy crossing to Wales on the fast boat. Quieter trip as it was early morning. Return journey was unpleasant as there was not a lot of room. Uncomfortable journey back because of the lack of room. On both journeys the staff were pretty miserable. None were rude but none were particularly pleasant. Whole trip was a little expensive but very easy.
"Great service and food "
The whole trip was well worth it ......that’s why I choose Irish ferries every time......the only down side is the staff are not friendly enough
"Dublin to Holyhead May 1st"
First time of using Irish Ferries, a bit different from the other ferries I have been bobbing back and forth on but fine; an experience driving up onto the top deck so if you don't like heights or are a nervous driver give it a miss. Late getting loaded and setting off but one of those things, made the time up in the crossing. Used them to return on 9th, late setting off again but made the time up again. Am using again next week Dublin, Liverpool.
"Holy head to Dublin onboard Epsilon. 22/04/19"
Terrible ship, it should be retired from service. Very small lounge area and an awful smell of old fried food. I’m sure this is a ship I travelled on as a child in the early 70’s .
"IRL-UK-IRL trip"
Traveled with O.Wild more that 10 years ago-were delighted. Used Epsilon and Wild for current trip and have to say Wild looks close to retirement. All lounges and lobby's looket like refugees camps, people out of there shoes sleeping everywhere even on the floor.
"Great"
A lot more relaxed than a plane plus no restrictions enjoyed my trip
"Dublin Swift better than Epsilon."
Dublin Swift far superior to Epsilon. The latter had poor facilities. Shop open for very short amount of time and no notice given about opening hours. Lack of comfortable seating. Would only travel on Dublin Swift if I booked again, as there are better facilities.
"Very nice and evreting ok.."
Good
"Dog kennels"
I was very disappointed with the dirtiness of the kennels and there were no bowls to even give my dog a drink ( lucky for bronson I brought his bowl with him)!there is a sign above the kennels saying" home from home" but this just wasn't the case. I know the kennels were free of charge but would of thought that at least there would be water and a bowl at leadt
"Poor Facilities "
There was no where to sit comfortably for the 3.5 crossing it was either sit in the Canteen or go outside. I would not recommend this ferry to family's its more for commercial use.
"Dublin to hollyhead"
What an absolute rip off How are these ferries getting away with charging so much its disgusting Cost me €300 for a 1 way single ticket
"Texan On The Ferry"
The staff from the ticket saleswoman to the parking guides and all in between were friendly, professional, and helpful. Worth every pence of the price!
