"Excellent"
Lovely trip and lovely staff
"Hassle free travelling "
We recently travelled from Belfast to Cairnryan and it was a very pleasant experience. We had booked the Hygge lounge which was wonderful as our sailing times had meant very early morning starts, so it was ideal to relax on board before driving again. We will definitely travel this way again. The only thing I would say is that while the quality of the on board catering was good, it was very expensive for what you got.
"Moter bikes "
Great ferry, good people and fast. Thanks for the trip,
"Christmas travel"
First class relaxing way to travel
"Marks trip "
I have used this ferry many times and its very good and very friendly
"Angels of the decks"
My Jeep would start, battery flat. The staff of the car decks were exceptional. It was 2/3 in the morning, they went to so very much trouble and gave so much time to help me and did so much to make me feel more secure, it was rather scary, I couldn’t get my Jeep and little dog off the ship. One of the guys even went up and got me coffee and cookies. Such angels, indeed !! So grateful to them all. God bless. M
"Tried to cancel, but could not"
My wife & I had a great experience on the Stena Line Ferry. However, we had to rebook with another agent because we we unable to get a bus from Cairnryan to Glasgow which was our final destination. I tried cancelling our Direct Ferries reservation, but was not able to as I don't have an internet phone service. I would. Like to be reimbursed for the amount I paid for 2 tickets from Belfast to Cairnryan . Please respond to my review. Thank you. Steve Chojnacki
"Tried to cancel"
Sir/Madam, I tried to cancel the reservation for me and my wife, but since I do not have an international phone, I was not able to. The reason I wanted to cancel was because I couldn't secure a bus from Cairnryan to Glasgow. Iwas; however, able to get ticket through City Link that got me to the Stena boat and a bus to Glasgow. I am hoping you will reimburse me. I understand if there is a service charge. Please let me know how to proceed in getting some off the money back. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I will review the ship Experience below since we did get tickets through City Link. Respectfully, Stephen Chojnacki.
"Recent trip"
Absolutely delighted with the service received
"Pros and Cons"
The most hassle free way to travel! We were impressed from start to finish. Booking confirmation had links to all information you may need-directions to the port terminal was grately appreciated! There was no confusion-everything was very professionally organised! The one dislike we had was with the prices onboard!! The value for food is not the best! Nearly £10 for a very small platleful plus an added extra for some chips!
"Very pleasant trip"
Very pleasant trip on the Stena line ferry. Sea was a bit rough on the return journey but captain had put stabilizers down to ensure our comfort. Sailing was punctual and safe. Would recommend this company!
"Comfortable travelling"
We have just returned from a family holiday in Scotland. We found the ferry, as on previous occasions, to be such a relaxing mode of travel. We were fortunate to have extremely calm seas on all our trips. We found the premier lounge to be so comfortable and we availed of the snacks available. I totally recommend Directferries.
"Stena Trip"
Pleasant trip, boat is spacious and big enough to cater for a large amounts of passengers. I have somehow paid for this trip twice through direct ferries and would like this to be rectified asap Many thanks
"Travel"
I travelled 2nd time honestly I enjoyed a lot feel like entertainment place
"the impossibility of getting in touch with direct ferries to change a scheduled flexi ticket booking"
My short sea trip was very pleasant and my past experience with direct ferries through which the ferry was booked has been good but this summer it proved impossible to contact their booking office by phone or e mail in order to change my return ticked on what was a flexible ticket. Stenna the ferry company did eventually allow my change when i explained that it was impossible to get through to direct ferries beyond a computerized message. I will in future book direct with the ferry company as they offer a far better service to customers.
"Safe trip, but very claustrophobic "
Felt safe on the ship, bit it is just too claustrophobic and no fresh air expect if you go out on deck.

"Christmas break"
Very comfortable journey can take as much luggage without restrictions
"After Ophelia"

"Enjoyable crossings "
Very enjoyable crossing in both directions. Friendly and efficient staff.
"excellent service"
had a lovely crossing. staff very friendly and more than accommodating. As a new mother breastfeeding I was given a locked office to pump in. this I was so greatful for. great services couldn't fault them. keep up the good work
"Experience of traveling with stena line "
Excellent service on time over all journey was great
"Belfast - Cairnryan "
Lovely ship, very clean & comfortable with friendly staff. Food was awful but it's only a short crossing so we can cope without eating till we get off then we can just stop somewhere. The food wouldn't put me off using stena line again.
"Great service"
Beautiful smooth day, friendly staff & a comfortable trip!
"Brilliant "
Spotlessly clean Great service
"Very relaxing and comfortable"
Opened my eyes to the comfort and convenience of ferry travel vs flying. Will be using more I. Future with he family
"Cost "
Journey good but I must say the cost compared to flying is excessive. You need to cut the costs like Ryanair did and you will revolutionise the ferry business. Open up a lot of harbours again. Like troon and Ardrossan
"Fast and relaxing "
I been on ferries before, but this one was great fast nice all the work were great. I just sit back and enjoy the trap. I feel asleep I was so Relaxed. Thank you for a nice ride
"First time travelling from the new ports"
Access to the new ports is excellent. The new ships are comfortable and quick. Will use the service again.
"Kids cruise"
Overall our jorney was enjoyable, however you should have informed the people travelling that there was a childrens cruise onboard!! We were travelling with children but they couldnt get involved because they didn't have a wristband, we would have been happy when boarding to pay a little extra to let them join in! On the other hand if i did not have kids with me i would not be happy that the bar was overrun by them i i couldnt have a drink and relax!!
"Highly recommend "
Excellent service throughout both from Direct Ferries and Stena Line alike. I'll definitely be using services in the future
"beautiful ride"
Our ferry ride was a highlight of our trip. The ship is modern, large, and the staff are very friendly. This is a great way to cross the Irish Sea!
